Dorcel Joy Pad

By @ Amber St. Clare

From pornographic film director Marc Dorcel, comes the Joy Pad vibrator. Made of soft smooth matte silicone, this vibrator houses two motors and is body-safe as well as compatible for use for clitoral or vaginal stimulation. The cute shape will definitely get your attention, and the bright fuchsia and black color of the body of the toy are fun and modern. This toy boasts 10 different vibration modes and has a nice hand grip handle for easy holding while thrusting. The toy requires 4 AAA batteries, and features a special U shape, along with a slightly tapered head that is curved for G-spot stimulation. There are textured rings at the base of the shaft, while the shaft is smooth and features a prominent curved edge. Once inserted, the curve points up against the vaginal wall to stimulate the G-spot, and the ridged rings at the base of the toy rest against the clit. The vibe isn’t completely waterproof, however it is water-resistant, so it’s not too hard to clean. You can clean this toy with anti-bacterial soap and water, or a sex toy wipe or cleanser. Be sure to use water-based lube with this vibe.

The vibe measures about 6 inches from tip to tip and measures 1.5 at it’s thickest point. The silicone feels nice, and I really like the bright fuchsia paired with the black handle. The toy comes in a Dorcel package box, plastic liner insert holding the toy, and instruction manual. This toy isn’t too loud, but it’s not whisper-quiet. You should be able to use it discreetly in the next room though. The vibration intensity is nice, not as strong as some other vibes on the market, but since this is a G-spot vibe and the shape offers a nice angle, for those who don’t like or need a lot of vibration internally this might be ideal. The user control to change the vibration settings and speeds is located on the black handle of the toy, and is easy to press. You can unscrew the black handle to insert the batteries as well. One of the toy’s motors is located in the tip of the toy, while the other is located at the clitoral ridges. The silicone shaft is very pliable and bendable but firm enough to enjoy some thrusting. The user control offers 4 buttons, an + and – as well as a comma shape and an upside down comma shape. The toy has 5 vibration speeds, and 5 vibration settings to browse through. The buttons are very easy to push and it’s quite simple to navigate through the settings. The vibration settings range from a flutter to more of a quick paced thumping rhythm. The vibration speeds go from a low to a medium-paced speed, not too powerful, not weak either. Fun toy with an interesting shape! You can get the Marc Dorcel Joy Pad vibrator at Trystology.
